Take the Mansfield Road (A608) from town passing the Meteor Centre on your left-hand side.
Carry on for approximately a mile and turn right into Bishop’s Drive.
Follow Bishop’s Drive for about a mile passing over the first island, passing the shops & Oak & Acorn pub on your right.
Upon reaching the next island go straight over on to Springwood Drive. About 100 metres up on your right you will see a bus stop. Park around here. Adjacent to the bus stop you will see a footpath leading on to Dukeries Lane. As you walk down the footpath Number 39 is immediately on the right hand side with railings round it. Press the button under the Alexander House sign & I will come to meet you at the gate
From Alvaston / Allenton etc
Go up Raynesway (do not take left turn for Derby City Centre/Nottingham)
At the top of Raynesway go straight across the island on to Acorn Way & over the next island into Oakwood. (Now on Oakwood drive)
At the next island turn right on to Springwood Drive. About 100 metres up on your right you will see a bus stop. Park around here. From Nottingham:
Take the A52 (from Junc. 25 if coming from M1) (Borrowash by Pass) towards Derby, follow until reaching the turn off marked Spondon.
Turn off here & approach the island in the right hand lane.
Turn right at the island passing ASDA on your left-hand side.
At the next island take the right hand lane and turn right on to Acorn Way.
Go straight ahead at the next island on to Oakwood Drive.

From Ilkeston
Take the road through West Hallam carrying on until reaching the turn for Stanley Village (Car dealer on corner) turning left.
Carry on to the T junction & turn right
Go through Stanley Village & travel for about 2 miles until reaching a Cross-Roads at the Kings Corner Public House.
Turn left here on to Morley Road passing the Derby County training center on your left.
Carry on until reaching an island and turn right on to Oakwood Drive
At the next island turn right on to Springwood Drive. About 100 metres up on your right you will see a bus stop. Park around here. From Heanor
Take the A608 main Heanor to Derby road
At Morley, turn left into Church lane passing St Matthews Church on your left & continuing to the crossroads with Lime lane
Go straight across on to Morley road passing the Kings corner pub on your right & then the Derby County training centre on your left.
Turn right at the island into the Oakwood Estate (Oakwood drive)
At the next island turn right on to Springwood Drive. About 100 metres up on your right you will see a bus stop. Park around here. Adjacent to the bus stop you will see a footpath leading on to Dukeries Lane. As you walk down the footpath Number 39 is immediately on the right hand side with railings round it. From Alfreton
Take the A38 to Derby taking the left hand filter at the island (Little Eaton)
Go Straight over the next two islands passing Morrisons on the right
At the next Island (Honda dealer on right) turn right onto Mansfield Road.

Taking the A6 from Duffield head towards Derby turning left at the island onto the A38 North
As you approach the Little Eaton island at the bottom of Abbey Hill be in the right hand lane & turn right.
Go Straight over the next two islands passing Morrisons on the right
At the next Island (Honda dealer on right) turn right onto Mansfield Road

Take the A38 to Derby, continuing straight on (still on A38) at the Markeaton island (Petrol Station & MacDonalds on your left)
